Okay... so I know I didn't even post on my birthday, which wasn't very fun 'cos a lot of people forgot it due to the maths (and/or jap test) on that day. Sigh.
Oh but this post isn't about that...! =) I have terrific news! Absolutely fantastic news! I PASSED MY NAPFA RETEST WITH SOMEWHAT FLYING COLOURS!!! My standing broad jump was 151cm (16cm improvement from the first test), sit and reach 40cm (sadly deproved by 1cm), sit-ups 35 (improvement of 6), inclined pull-ups SEVEN (when I previously only did two), and the best I saved for last: shuttle-run of 10.8 SECONDS. My all-time best record. I can't remember what the previous timing was but I think it was 12 point something. If they take the original test date, my NAPFA failing streak since P4 (due to standing broad jump) will have ended and I will get a SILVER (at the very least a bronze). WOOHOOOOOO.
Oh and there's more. Our CmPS project (my pet project!) got into the IRS exhibition, maybe even into the presentation round!!! It's my first time in the exhibition! We get to wear the school blazers!!! (something which I've always wanted to do, even though I pretend that I don't want to because everyone does so) The banana suits! The seven dwarfs in banana suits! The seven dwarf bananas! Yayayayay!
Okay shall end here. =) Beat my new shuttle record if you can. Actually I think some people can but I'm just very happy. =)

Happy Youth Day, everyone!
Okay... I know I haven't posted for a pretty long time so this is a summary of what happened so far: I got all A1s (yays!) for the first semester, I failed NAPFA 5 stations, and hmm yes two things I will elaborate on in detail below.
First things first, last week I watched a really good movie on TV: Mean Girls. Despite what other people might feel, I think it was really quite an accurate portrayal of what goes on in schools, from upper primary to perhaps JC, even. =) The Elite VS the Not-so-elite. Everyone likes the Elite, and what they say goes. Hmm. I myself am not an Elite, and would be honored to be a not-so-elite. Honestly speaking, I detest the Elite. I feel that being an Elite (the title albeit unspoken) does not give anyone any special rights to behave in any way, especially towards others. So I was quite happy when in the end, the Elite sort of split up. =) Though I've always been glad for happy endings, as well.
And secondly. . . we should have a brief introduction first. =) I don't like doctors, nor medicine, nor the fact that I have a couple of in-a-way medical problems. Oh and fitness too. =) (I can't do IPUs, but I can throw far. Want me to demo? =)) Well one day in the June hols we finally went to the optician to change spectacles. And when I tested my eyesight (it's absolutely not brilliant), I ended up with something like 450 (left) and 750 (right) and slight astigmatism (if I'm not wrong) as well. ARGH. My parents got quite worried, so my dad arranged an appointment with his friend (an opthamologist, if I remember correctly) at the Singapore Polytechnic. Sigh.
I was quite reluctant to go, neither was I in a very good mood, but we still had to go. In the end we arrived a bit early, but my dad's friend's previous patient had some kind of medical emergency so we were delayed for around forty minutes. Then after my dad and I went to this small small room with the basic equipment you see at the optician's shop and just took the same few eyetests and a few others as well, aka shining random light into your eye when the torch thingy is out of battery and is dim and flickering on and off. Haha. I wanted to laugh, but. . .it would have been rude. =) And I'm mostly not very rude, I hope.
Hmm. . .oh and there was some more shining light in eye stuff later, where the doctor was looking at my eyes (so weird, if I do say so =)). And the room was so cold, and I had no jacket on. Argh (again). Oh and in the end I ended up with a new prescription (when I just made a new pair). This prescription was somewhere along the lines of 450 and 650 (not as bad as the optician's testing! =)) left and right respectively, and alleviating my parents' fears, I did not have a 'lazy eye'. Oh and my new specs have a prism in them, at least the upper part of the right eye lenses. My immediate reaction was-- rainbow! Haha. =) The prism is because apparently my pupils aren't level, but the optician said it was usually okay, but since the doctor wanted it then. . . I have to go back in three months time to see how the prescription is working out; 29th September. Sigh sigh sigh. Oh and the doctor wanted to take photos of my eyes for photo-documentation ONLY. He kept stressing 'only'. My dad agreed first but when he told my mum she got worried that they'd have to dilate the pupils with some solution or something and said it might be painful (poking etc.) so my dad better clear everything first before agreeing. =)
That's the end of my first ever appointment. We wasted the whole of Saturday, and I wasted this morning and much of the afternoon, so I have to hurry and finish Maths and Science homework so that I can spend the whole of tomorrow on huo2 dong4, which I haven't started writing. Ahhh! =) But no matter what, I'm still the same old me. And I haven't finished reading shui2 hu3 zhuan4. Probably going to fail the test.

Okay. So I think I'll fail *****'s baseline for maths. Hopefully I will pass (the PAPER), and by a fluke his baseline. Oh well.
Anyway, for those who don't know, I cut my hair (short) on Saturday. I have had enough of the idiotic comments made by some people (aka *****) so unless you have something nice to say, keep it to yourself and shut your mouth (<---this is 'cos I've been so mad and irritated by the comments made by one of my classmates. I quote: "Evil number one or evil number 2?" I chose number 1 ----this shows my naiveness, but oh well... anyway "Evil number one is laugh at you. HAHAHAHAHA. . . Why you cut your hair?" Later on, "Who cut your hair? Because it's a bit uneven." I so felt like throwing a **** thing at her. The best thing of all, I know I'd hit her. Hard. On the head. She deserves it. And it wouldn't even waste much of my strength. (Btw, this person is NOT X, surprisingly. She didn't say anything about it to me, and was even quite cordial for once. =) I appreciated that. It shows that she isn't such a bad person after all, I suppose? I always like to give people a chance.)
So. . . I conclude. DON'T YOU DARE SAY ANYTHING MORE ABOUT MY HAIR (unless well, it's an okay thing--my jap teacher said it was 'kawaii' haha) and I cut my hair because my mum wanted me to and she's been nagging me to for ages. The END.

Long time since I blogged! But anyway, let's talk about this person called X (not her real name). She is tyrannical, domineering and plain irritating. She uses violence to make people do what she wants them to, and as such, she can be called a bully. =)
Hmm. At first I used to ignore her, and maybe even avoid her, but lately, when I grew in confidence after making new friends and establishing better ties with old ones, I began to wonder, why should I be afraid of her? Nowadays, I stand up to her, and rebutt her comments, much to the disapproval of my mum when I tell her. But I don't worry. If X ever attempts to disturb me via physical force or cutting-edge comments, I'd just hit her right back (figuratively and literally). I don't care. I can fight, and my command of language is pretty strong. Best of all, as I'm pretty good at relating to people, I know all her weak spots. I can hit her right where it hurts if she ever attempts to hurt someone I know or myself.
Does that mean that I'm a bad person? Exploiting her weaknesses? I don't think so. I've stood her long enough. It's time I fight back. War is about to break out, and it won't be pretty.
*Please excuse my use of 'pretty' so often in this blog article. =)
Other than that, I've remained much the same. I'm still sensitive to comments and criticism, and neither do I find Bio lessons funny. I'm still the serious me, with a slight twist. I may or may not wage war on X, but it depends. Rub me up the wrong side and watch me explode. Few people have seen me do that so far. I intend to keep it that way. After all, X isn't worth my time, is she? I'll let the others and the teachers deal with her. =)
CmPS is getting better and worse. While we've started on the ultra-fun action plan, we've delayed the sending out of the letters. OH NO. Yups. So I'll have to pray hard, and hopefully, it'll all be all right, I hope.

GE Maths Enrichment Camp is over! =) My group (Group 9) was pro. But I didn't/couldn't do much because I haven't learnt all that stuff yet and I'm not a maths pro. Sigh. I feel bad. All I did was spell 'isosceles' and find out that actually the answer to the second bonus question was nine, not eight. And it was done by looking through the calendar on my handphone. >-<>
YOU KNOW?! ***** was filming us and we were all so hyper after finishing our station, so we ran to the nearest escalator and found out that it was a DOWN one. We were laughing like anything. Someone pointed out, "You still call yourselves GE students?!" Well it was just me and a few other extremely eager people (I think I was the one who went that direction, so they followed me. I nearly got lost another couple of times too.). The rest went the right way. I feel so embarrassed. But it was really funny. =) Oh and we got first place, 46/47 marks for the Maths trial. =) Whee.
I still haven't fully begun on my homework. So I shall do so now. Lots more to do. Sigh. =) Tomorrow going to S(i)ming's house! My first time going there! =) Yays~!

Oh yays we got a new computer! =) A Compaq Presario!
Anyway the maths camp today was quite fun, though it did get a bit boring at parts, like when the logic behind the games were explained. Sometimes it was really cool, but at times it could be rather stiff too. But it was quite okay. ***** was acting pretty weird today. He was all happy, as if he'd met his best friend at the camp. =) So funny.
Tomorrow we're going to Suntec City and Esplanade for the Maths Trial! Sadly, we are not allowed to wear our class tee as there are two-twelvers from NYGH as well and we have to be dressed as a school, or at least united, I think.
What else...I haven't started on holiday homework!!! I'm going to be dead. >-<
Okays. I shall end here.
P.S. We managed to find our way to B3-01 in ACS(I) today. Three cheers for us! Especially Jiayun and Pei Ling for their good sense of direction. =)

The last day of February. Tomorrow is Marshy's and Jen's birthdays. =)
Hmm. What to say? The PE written test was bad. But the throwing and catching components were okay. =) I got 9/10 and 10/10 respectively. =) whee I love throwing! But only things that I can hold in my hand (like wrap my hand around it). If you ask me to throw a basketball or something, I probably wouldn't be able to throw it very far. I haven't tried the javelin yet. =) Hopefully it's fun.
We're going to be murdered by ***** and Miss **** tomorrow. Our IL is like half done (the proposal with NO research) and we don't have enough people for the NA and NT streams (NT = 0)!!! And tomorrow is SPA! I still can't light the bunsen burner!
Okay. I shall end here.
